Like the menu screen art, you could of highlighted the colour change on hover more. Your game is the first time I've since that detail in this jam. Game looked good and moved around nicely. However the short amount of time before the candle ran out made it difficult explore especially without some visual navigation aid.
Pleasure to play would of played more with easier navigation.
Cool-looking environment. I'm definitely unclear on what's causing me to die though, seems random and can't evade.
Hey, thanks for giving the game a go! Its unfortunate that we didn't make it clear enough through the visuals alone, but the idea is that if your match goes out and you aren't standing in a light source the darkness will start to consume you. So you have to go re-light your match at one of the camps or lamps you have available to you :)
