I love how you actually had your inspiration from a real story and you just ran with it! Very interesting stuff, the characters were very fleshed out and unique!

Nice job!

This was probably the darkest submission for a SCREAM JAM so far! I liked how you dealt with quite gratuitous themes whilst not getting carried away with them. Great idea to take inspiration from a real-world story which lent the narrative an aura of realism. The sound design, as said by others, was done well and contributed to the atmosphere. I liked how you handled the narrator, whose paranoid and depraved worldview, as fia glas mentioned, raised questions as to the boundaries between reality and fantasy. Having done a lot of study in criminal litigation let me tell ya, the world of crime is even more dark and surreal than the bizarre and unsettling narrative this story conjures! Good work!

Chilling story. Moments of it feel too dark and vacant to be real, yet appear lifted from the accompanying news story. This story paints a picture of an amoral landscape as decrepit as the grainy, glitched backgrounds and sticks with it. I personally enjoyed the soundtrack, with sounds fading in and out and giving the whole experience a very dizzying, surreal feel. The sound design was what really drew me in.

I left not really knowing if everything was as the narrator described or if she had become so dim and depressed by how things had turned out that she convinced herself it was all darkness with no light. This story rides the line between a depressing atmosphere and too much to handle and take seriously. It almost goes to far but never quite falls off.
