As a comment to anyone who sees this later on, the main event of my submission was in the 3rd/last level of the game after you beat the big/boss enemy. It seems that most people don't make it that far so there is a detailed break down of the effects in the submitted document and a brief overview on my portfolio at https://calummcmanus.com/2019/02/06/unity3d-shader-effect-sfas/

The game its self is only there to give the visual effects I made purpose.
