It amazes me how much you can actually do with 2d. The enemy model and it's animations are really nicely done.
I think I broke the game by going out of bounds on the 2nd or 3rd floor, Could it be nice if it was connected to the other side of the level? That would probably solve it. I have no clue whether that's hard or not though!
I really like base defense games so this game was a lot of fun for me! I like that the gameplay is intense and it's definitely addicting. I wanted to see that tree grow large but 15 min wasn't enough tries for me ;_; I feel like you put a lot of effort into the animations of the player character and the enemies, they're very smooth and it's very clear when the plant is gonna strike, I like that. Also nice shading. Sometimes the when you block the plant's damage goes through anyway which I feel makes it hard to progress, I guess it's a bug?
