  • The thing I really like about your project is that you kept it small self contained and achievable and that allowed you to produce high quality assets and focus on getting a well lit and composed scene. Each element is well crafted and work together as a whole. To push it further you could of added the remains of one of the knights whose swords have been left behind, a good skull in a helmet could of added even more mystery and interest. Good work well done.
  • The modeling and texturing are great! Maybe some foliage would have added more interest in the scene which is very rocky. The scene is well done but it's missing something to make it very interesting. Try to add a shader on the main rock (glowing?) or VFX on its eye.
  • Assessor: Anthony O Donnell - Art Director @ d3t Submission: Chained Cipher. The final images here came out really well. Lighting and good texture work. The piece itself is creative and visually interesting. The document was informative and well written. There are some inefficient elements within the scene such as the large square texture for the sword when it only really uses half. The option was there to create a 2X1 texture instead. 1024 X 512. The quality of the high res sculpted assets is also high. Polycounts are good, some areas of excess but nothing a quick clean up wouldn't fix. The main thing to stand out to me is the perfectly square and clean hole in the stones in the ceiling. If this was comprised of individually placed stones it would break up the clean unnatural edge. Texel density was very consistent in the scene leading to a good final image result.
  • Simple but very well done. Great documentation and final renders.
