no, the next one, the one with the lazers behind it
To open the door you must approach and aim at the mechanism, then press the e key, the next mechanism has life so you must shoot it.

Here are some tips to avoid dying on the first try:
- Do not overlook the ammunition, it can be confused with the environment.
- Some mechanisms can be destroyed.
