  • Really enjoyed this! Thought it was pretty funny! Looked great too! I have a suggestion for future jams, because if we do another I do hope you submit again! That suggestion would be an easier way to play this game. It's kind of a detour to have to download another program to play this. But it was very worth! Only other "issue" would be typos. But that's really small compared to what matters. Thanks for submitting!

How does your submission fit the jam's theme?
You can corrupt tiles and some vinessauce references

Good
- Overall a very creative, fun, theme-relevant game. One of the best games I've played so far!
- Best death sound in the jam
- Original art, story, and music
- Great sense of humor
- Creative interpretation of the Corruption theme

Bad
- The barrier of requiring people to download an external application (EasyRPG Player) to play the game will lose a lot of potential players
- Using WASD combined with Z and X was a bit uncomfortable to my fingers.  I feel like using keys such as space bar and ctrl or shift would have felt more natural
- It was a bit awkward to be pressing 9 and 2 for other mechanics. Seems more appropriate that restart button would be in a menu after pressing ESC or something like that

Great job!

Thank you for your feedback!
I'm surprised you haven't tried using the Arrow Keys, they are way better to use with Z and X.
I believe i forgot to explain who to change the keybinds using EasyRPG in the Instructions because it's possible to chance de 2-9 button and the movement buttons (F1 default). I'll change the instructions for a more clean explanation.
After this Jam i'm looking for buying the newest RPG Maker Engine for a better newcomer experience, you can do a lot of cool stuff with RPG Maker 2003 but the RPG_RT requirement and lack of keybind/video customization is really bad.
