why does the source code link point to pixilart?!?!?!?!?

Developer

i have no idea what they meant by source code so i just put the link to what i use for the pixel art.

Host

I meant the .sb file, and I didn't mean to create a small and basic game literally, I meant a game written with the language created by Microsoft called Small Basic.

Developer

welp.. i should have done research on this before i went and did the game. I'll see what this "Small Basic" thing is.

Host (1 edit)

yeah. better research before programming.

I think it's my fault that you didn't understand that I meant the language Small Basic  and not literally a Small and Basic game because I didn't put the link, I simply forgot, but if my computer didn't CRASH EVERY SECOND I would have put the link to Small Basic.

Also, you should use a fantastic library for Small Basic called LitDev.

It offers a lot of interesting tools, functions, etc., and even the Box2D Collision engine, all in one library to use with the IDE to download with Small Basic.

And so: When I mean a small and basic game, I use the term "small & basic", while when I mean the LANGUAGE Small Basic, developed by Microsoft in 2008, I use the term "Small Basic". Everyone that participates in this jam should read this message.

Also, ClapDev do you need extra time for misunderstanding? If you need extra time, please tell me how much.

nah I found it in the Microsoft Store so it seems like its beginner friendly! I'll try it out.

Host

ok, but I downloaded it from the website.

Host

I'll try it after the Master System Jam ends.

Developer
