Thanks for response! I'm glad you found at least something of interest.
While a degree of opacity was certainly intended (especially at the beginning), I had planned for things to start making more sense as the game progressed and simply ran out of time before I got to that stage. Obvious as it might sound, next time I'll aim to have a working, coherent structure much earlier into the development process. The utterly amateur writing chops don't help much either! Well, we're all here to learn, right?
This is... I kept being on a border between finding this opaque and hard to get into, ad drawn into the mood, abstract as it could be. Some of the phrases were really nicely evocative, but I had just a bit too much trouble connecting them. Like, the cast of purple light cast against the grasses -- not clear what that was caused by, but I got a good vivid image of it and it felt appropriately romantic and strange.
