Whatever Possessed You isn’t a bad game but at the same time it is simply about memorizing facts. If you remember enough you win and if you don’t you lose but either way the game is over right there. Not much of a backstory or a progression. The conversation with your friend also feels a little awkward and forced. I guess it kind of has to in order to fit in questions that correlate to your history. The art style was decent but it does take place in a single room so it’s hard to praise it too much.
I played Whatever Possessed You on Linux. It never crashed and I didn’t notice any spelling errors. There are no options at all, not even for full screen. You can’t save but it is a short game.

I wouldn’t call Whatever Possessed You a great game but it also isn’t a bad game. It’s a fine way to pass a few minutes and shows me a developer worth looking into more as it at least felt unique. I finished the game in seven minutes.

Played this game for the first time on Spooctober Jam2020 and fell in love instantly. Came back today and it's so nice!
