Wow, really wonderful. The music is really beautiful, and I love the illustration. I think my favorite part was having to listen and have my ears guide me with the stereo effect, that was a really fun way to play. And a perfect length for the story too. Great job!
Wow. I agree with what everyone else was saying, but one of the things that I want to mention is, this is exactly the kind of scope I’d like to have for a jam project, but often struggle to achieve. A simple design in itself, that’s fun to play but is still a fully realised game, with the audio, visuals, story and mood to match.
So, like Yori said - a perfect little game. Congrats!
PS. At least in the Mac build, some of the lower bubble text was obscured, and I couldn’t find a way to scroll it.
I know this is "music first" but, my gosh, that art... I'm swooning!! I also really loved the way the audio is mixed to dampen when inside the bottle/pocket; I would have liked to use a similar effect in our project but circumstances kept us from implementing such.
Thanks! The music-in-the-bottle effect is a low pass filter setup in FMOD and controlled through a variable, so overall not as much work as I was expecting at first. And the artist is my partner, Chamisa Kellogg. I recommend checking out her other stuff, it's all great in my very biased opinion 😉
Fantastic, the art is wonderful! It seems like you and your team knew exactly what you wanted to accomplish. Doesn't feel like anything was left unfinished. The concept of a music bug makes me smile!
Thank you! I had been kicking around the idea of music helping people in cognitive decline for a while and the pieces just fell into place for the jam :)

Thanks! And I'll check out the bubble text issue. Do you happen to know the resolution/aspect ratio of your monitor?
Great! Resolution is 1440x900

I've heard some outstanding things about music therapy for people with dementia. Pretty inspiring topic to explore!
Love it!
Thanks!
So good! Just a perfect little game. Every tiny bit of it was enjoyable.
Thanks Yori!
