Love, love, love this!!,
I love how the Episodic Adventures mechanism helps me play the game quicker and looser, freeing me from a lot of burden and anxiety of decision consequences that I felt when I tried vanilla Starforged before.
The Ecumenopolis oracles provide a cool option to make the setting of Starforged somewhat more lively and less desolate. This fills a missing piece of the puzzle to allow the games feel more like e.g. Star Wars. That said, I'd love if the tables were still a bit richer: a megalopolis is never completely uniform; I'm considering trying to use Settlement oracles to maybe flesh-out some zones and communities in a planet-sized city. Also, should I become hungry for more, this seems a nice way to blend elements from the free generic Stars Without Number world-book into Starforged.
Finally, the extra oracles for Machines, horrors, and Precursors are of very nice quality. The only disappointment for me, is that the horrors are assumed to be purely mutated/disfigured humanoids. That feels very limiting for me: I really love the "cosmic horror" (a.k.a. lovecraftian) style of supernatural beasts, and Forge Horizons does not provide those. That itch thus still stays unscratched in me for Starforged.
All in all, I heartily recommend Forge Horizons. It's a bundle of 3+ expansions in one, and already the first one resulted in a quality-of-life improvement in playing Starforged for me. It helped me overcome "the hump", reduce anxiety, and as a result, gave me back the fun of playing the game.
What a juicy addition to the Ironsworn/Starforged collection!
