It's really buggy :

if you want to open the cauldron without any ingredients, you can't get out. Plus there are other mentions of stuff like that in the comment, but I couldn't try them, I couldn't escape the cauldron.

Yes I know. I chose Contruct 3 as the engine and it seems to be having issues. I am currently rebuilding it in unity.

The game's unplayable. I've tried three times and it consistently starts lagging after about five minutes in. Although, I'm not sure that really matters given how I don't see how this is an incremental game

After some messing around the game eventually ended up continuously memory leaking, so I'm afraid I'll be unable to do much here. However, just based on the idea, I'll try rating it.

Balance: Not particularly well done, mobs feel way too hard in contrast with what you can do. I keep either getting killed on the first level before I can make more tea, or barely escape to the second level where I keep getting chased by bats anyway. Zombie drops still seem broken for me, dropping "orc viscera".

Uniqueness: Fairly standard RPG stuff. 3 stars from me- not great but not bad.

Fun: Had mostly great fun for the short time I was playing, although cutscenes seem to take up a bit too much of the time.

Theme: Well you mix potions. I guess that counts, although imo it's definitely not the most nuanced take on the theme.

Controls are a bit wacky- You should be able to press a key other than i/j to close inventory/journal.

Like I said before you can get past the bridge without doing anything with the pillar if you get pushed by an orc. Some of the journal entries also got corrupted and replaced with either "0" or simply empty strings periodically after respawn.

Interesting idea... it was probably made on the wrong engine though.

I agree, trying to rebuild in unity now.

So far as I can tell, it's nearly impossible to beat the game- I kept running into tons of softlocks. I got a journal item telling me I needed zombie brains, but I couldn't go back and fight more skeletons to get bone marrow because I'd somehow managed to glitch the game to not allow me to go back across the bridge. Then I restarted the game and tried again but I ended up with barely any health going to the next stage and kept being killed on one shot. Orcs are also extremely hard to kill due to their tendency to clump up into large groups.
