Are we allowed to make the game SFW?

Kind of a weird question, but my artist friend and I have planned a great gameplay idea, and we'd like for the game to be playable by anyone. while yes there'll be implicit dialogue and plumpy monster girls, it won't feature any NSFW artwork
We are considering a separate NSFW version though but not our main focus
Honestly this is the only game jam which fits the timeframe I want, I've got the next 3 months to work on personal projects.

I'm in a similar boat, with a similar plan.

I am guessing, but I think implicit dialogue would be enough based on this rule:

  • Your game MUST contain *erotica. Whether that is *Explicit OR Implicit is up to your preference and vision!

Worst case scenario for me, I make a game its not implicit enough that it gets removed from the jam, at the least I still made a game by the end.

You're correct as long as it is somewhat implicit (with some wiggle room of course) it will qualify!

As long as it's implicit it will qualify so I think you're fine! Keep in mind erotica doesn't mean just sex it just means erotic, sexually stimulating or sexually arousing in general. That can potentially mean a lot of things outside of sex so I think you're fine!
