Just finished and I got to say, you two NAILED it! you expanded the universe in a meaningful way and I had lots of fun with the entry, I am a fan of bullet hells. My biggest wish was I wish there was more, but what is there is already a pretty juicy chunk so that's hardly a complaint. 

I have minor issues that I could critique tho, first is I remember some bullet hells having the option to move slower with shift and I didnt find a key for that, still got through the fights without it so that is barely a nitpick. 

Second is the maze took me quite a bit to find the exit for, just because it wasnt the most intuitive thing to go across diagonally, however I did find it since early in the maze you are forced to cross empty space as well, so good stuff there. 

Other than those two minor things I was blown away by the detail, the music fading on battle start reminded me of everhood and it was so cool to have you transition in and out of battle so naturally! The story so far is pretty straight forward since its only the intro to a story but I really liked the characters you have and the town you made. Music was great, art was great, it was just great.
