Awesome game! I love the player controller, feels nice

I love the huge variety in the things you can do, and places to go. It was a bunch of fun to discover packs and just keep running into things to do. I really love it when there's a bunch of people milling about on the dock. Like it just felt super alive.   I do wish a rating category existed solely for me to give "Live stream"5 stars.

Visually appealing (though too dark for my taste). This game definately needs a proper tutorial. The guy is thirsty but what can I do about that? Also the chat is confusing. Different colours for each NPC would be nice. What am I supposed to do? Why is everyone following me? I unlocked the tutorial but how to access it?

Developer

Hey! I'll try to add a tutorial once I'm able to upload new files again, and will take your suggestions on. If you ask someone what they want, or they tell you, it'll give a clue. For the person that's thirsty, they need fresh water, which means finding the 'live stream'. If you ask them to follow you, and head to the attraction they want, they'll say thanks. Once all of their needs are met, they'll catch the next ship off the island. Their needs vary from wanting a specific place that loosely symbolise different things in the community (library/tutorial: the book cases, water/stream: the river, food/jams: the cherry trees with the bucket, social/fireside: the campfire). If they seem despondent or full of doubt, they probably just need praise. If they seem uninspired or looking for something else, tell them about an asset pack.

You can also collect crates, which gives you more asset packs to tell them about, and once you either find 10, or one of the scifi-ones, you unlock the Synty bot. Once you've helped enough people (default is 12), you win.

If you're finding it dark, use the 1.1 version (it's the only one you can download currently) and in the middle of the day, pause (Escape, F10 or P) and set the day speed to 0. That will lock the day/night cycle. You are also able to change the maximum people that arrive on a ship, the population cap, and the number of people you need to help. Change the ship arrivals to 1 and population cap to 4 for a much calmer version of the game.

What do you mean by you unlocked the tutorial?
