Good job getting so many levels in! Always rare to see more than one in game jams :) Curious is anyone has beaten it without any damage taken!

“Uh oh! I’m in Danger” doesn’t seem to apply, I love no-engine games but I don’t see any OpenGL/Vulkan/D3D calls in the scripts

Hey thanks for the review! For the diversifier thing I actually asked about that and they said SDL2 is fine. Since the game makes SDL calls I'm should be ok.  The hitboxes were done in a hurry so the traps are a little wonky...wish I had more time haha

They might change their mind on that but considering I'm the only non engine jammer I might be in the clear LOL

This game is BRUTAL.

Full-level progression reset and the health staying with you between levels really makes it HARD. I also felt like some of the colliders with the enemies, spikes, and saw blades were a little too big. For example, in the second level where you have to jump right between those two spike beds, I have yet to be able to do that after like 10 tries.

Also, the Skeletons inconsistently moving, BRUTAL.

Did beat it though. 4th level was my favorite (felt like a stealth game), 5th was also pretty solid, 1st felt the most like a classic platformer, level 2 was also pretty good, and level 3 I did not enjoy.

Good game!

Thanks man! Yea tile collisions were something I had time to polish but the trap collisions were done in a hurry so I just grabbed the sprites and made that the collider which makes them be bigger than they look unfortunately... I do wanna polish it up and upload a better version when the jam rating ends!

Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad you liked it!
