I'm glad you went back and fixed that bug! (Centimane, messing with your game build, what a dick.) I went back and gave it another try and I liked it--piecing together the different rituals is fun, and you did a good job of building up a tense atmosphere. I couldn't figure out what "burn the saints to embers" was supposed to mean, though.

Neat concept, I was enjoying putting together the clues to the different rituals. Unfortunately the Centimane bug kept me from finishing the game as well. Hope you fix it soon!

this is a really good game and i love the concept! i think i couldn’t really proceed after the resurrection spell because of a bug? no matter what i do, it doesn’t ask me for a name anymore and it will always summon Centimane. even after a game over, it still summons Centimane no matter what i do.

i enjoyed it pretty much and it kept me engaged trying to figure out the next demon and the lore. the writing is really good, props to you. i think one improvement is to have a message log or in-game notes so that i can refer to it without having to write stuff down physically. all in all, excellent work!

Thank you so much for your feedback, glad you enjoyed! Really sorry about the bug, we'll look at that when we have the chance. In the meantime, does refreshing the page reset it and let you proceed as normal? Because we don't have any narrative flags in game (i.e. progression is accomplished purely through learning new info rather than changing game state) you shouldn't lose any progress.
