I liked the character and the environment. Also the aliens? glowing eyes. nice touch. In first person mode it had the feel of like a Doom game. The controls were hard to manuever. It would be nice if you could simply bump into things to pick them up and just have them put directly into your inventory. Also if the containers were labeled and a little more direction (maybe a tooltip that would pop up) telling you how to move items to different pouches. I ran out of bullets pretty quick and didn't figure out how to reload.... maybe this isn't built in yet? All in all I feel like you should either make this first person game or a third person game, the jumping back and forth between the two was disorienting and awkward. The AI on the enemies was rough too. they just kept getting stuck against the walls. I was able to get all of the skulls in the table and open the portal. I would like more bullets and blood please. This is a good start on what could be a pretty great game.
