This was a very unique experience, but by the time I reached level 3, I still didn’t completely understand what was going on. I never quite figured out what the chalk and the pipe trees were for. I guess this air of mystery is what you wanted to go for, and in a way it works pretty well, but maybe some more guidance would be nice.
I feel like this doesn’t work super well as a puzzle game since it’s a bit tedious, but I could totally see this turn into an open-world exploration game.
The chalk dosn't have a use other then drawing something at first was used for cutting but then I choosed to go for a simpler way. The pipe tree grow oil fruit that have various uses. You nailed it cause I started without levels just a progressive world in wich you learn the proprieties of the plants and overcome obstacles that way but the way plants work are very resources intensive and I had to break down in levels. I probably should redisegn the levels. Thank you for your insight!
