Hi hello!

I liked the game, minimap is a nice addition but it's a bit confusing because it turns with the player. I managed to get all three parts, but I didn't know what to do with them :)

Thanks for sharing The Last Strand with us!

Glad you liked it, I agree with the minimap after giving it to some friends for playtesting I decided to stop its rotation on the next update as well with some other things. Really happy you got the parts, talking to John(the guy on the dialogue) he tells you to go to the northern base. However I get that the dialogue box isn't that interesting to look so I agree that I wouldn't look at it either 😂. With every game we become better. Thanks for playing :D

Aaaa that's where I have to go! I was looking at what John is saying, but probably I skipped the dialogue by accident :( Gonna play again then, because now I know where to go. Thanks for the reply!

Good luck. An extra tip. Save your bullets and RUUUN. Don't try to kill all of them :P

Pretty impressive you managed to get so much done in just 4 days! I liked the day/night cycle and low poly aesthetic, as well as how much stuff there was to explore. I think more minimalist HUD icons would suit the look of the game a bit better, and perhaps a zoom in when you walk indoors could look good. Very well done :)

Developer

Thank you very much, the truth is I grinded a lot to get as much as I could from the game. You are absolutely right about the HUD but I'm not experienced in that area so I did what I could. Glad you liked it hope you had fun and felt a little anxious about the time limit and the exploring of the map.

Hey. I recorded a video about the Totally Ranked Jam and included your game in it. I think that the game is nice. However, I could not find the 3rd item. I was lucky to find the second. It would be cool if I knew how to navigate. Also, it would be more comfortable if the cursor was more visible. I could not see it at all sometimes. If you want to cut your game out of the video, let me know. However, if you like the video, I make similar videos every day. I will be happy if you subscribe. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game.

Developer

it's okay about the video. I was going for a little difficulty with the pointer, so as to shoot better when the sun is up. Also, I would like the player to explore the map on his own and not navigate him. Maybe in a later version I will add a difficulty level that has both. Thanks for the feedback, hope you had a nice time playing it. You certainly have a new subscriber.

thank you. I appreciate it very much. It actually makes sense what you say. :D the game becomes more challenging.  Many people like such things.

It have a lot of potential! I miss some kind of introduction what to do.

Developer(+1)

I wanted it to be an exploration game, so that the player is a little 'lost'. However, there is a guy talking to you, giving you some 'directions'. Hope you had some fun.
