Fun yet challenging game. I included it in my Touhou Jam 5 compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)

Your stuff's always a joy to play through in these jams, I'm impressed! I never played robotron so judging as it's own thing it's a really fun smaller-scale danmaku game. I would've liked to see my hitbox in some capacity but i functioned ok without it. It took me a while to get why the rounds were going by so fast sometimes but it made sense to me soon enough and organically. The RNG could be a bit non-forgiving sometimes in terms of putting the rabbit-eating enemies too closed to the rabbits or just summoning too many skull guys in a wave (dunno if that's RNG). Didn't quite make it through all 40 unique stages but got close. Great job!

I really dig these graphics. Cool game.

On some waves, the slow enemies kill all the rabbits almost immediately after the wave starts, which sends me to the next wave right away.

hey thanks! yeah this was my first time ever messing with heavy rng and a lot of times it doesn't work too well haha. when i was testing at the end i definitely saw a half-dozen waves go by in just a few seconds, oops

I really like the presentation of this game, but I don't really get the gameplay (I guess I never played robotron, so I gueeeessssss?)

A good take on robotron with Touhou elements. Art all comes together and each enemy has its own patterns. Music is on point with retro style too. I like how the octopus level is actually better to rush for the rabbits instead of fighting them as their deflecting bullets get unmanageable fairly quickly.

For the theme, I like the interpretation that retro developers themselves are the legends of game industry, although I'm not sure if that was your intention.

Game seems to repeat after Wani Mob so I stopped after 14 waves. Definitely a solid jam game I'd recommend.

thanks so much!  a lot like robotron there are 40 unique waves, and after that you just have an endless loop of 21-40 until (theoretically) reaching a perfect game after 255 waves where you get a kill screen.

This game rules!

It took me a while to get used to the controls and the enemies spam too much, but I dig the retro arcade aesthetics of the game. Really impressed by this!
