Ice Cream Town
Correlation to theme
I aimed to combine the more rigid tempo (duple / quadruple time signatures) and minimalist themes that are often seen in the theme music for cold areas, while incorporating the cheeriness and candy-feel that would come with an ice cream town.

I can definitely feel the coldness and calmth of the town in the song! Composition-wise I think it is pretty well done. I do wonder, how did your song end up being around 3:30 in length, while the actual song only lasted until 1:05?
It gives a weird vibe, mostly because of very low notes and the unexpected major resolution. But otherwise it's very well composed.
This definitely fits the coldness that one might feel in an ice cream town. Space between the lowest and the highest voices is a good way to achieve that goal. Your melody has great voice leading and is easily singable which helps with catchiness. I find it interesting that it starts out minor and dirge-like but ends with an implied major cadence. One observation that I made is that when notes are clustered in the low bass range, it can sometimes be difficult to pick them apart and can run the risk of sounding muddy. I think the intentional choice of lowering the bass to add separation works well for a cold theme. Overall good work and thank you for sharing!
