Sprite Loaders?

Is it okay if we load sprites from text, as long as they're encoded versions of the toybox sprites?

I ask because if i wanted to use some of the 16x16 sprites it could fill a single cart fast

I don’t think it’s allowed since the point is to use the *sheet and be restricted to the 256 sprite limit.

*(How did I call the spritesheet a map?)

As long as you use the assets provided, kiiiiinda don’t care how ya load ‘em!

This year is more lax than last year. If you go to that much trouble and it fits, I’ll allow it.  Since there’s a lot more gfx, this is a weird case. Just don’t go crazy with it. Ideally it is just one spritesheet.... and one cart. But you’re eating your cart room with sprite data, which is an interesting tradeoff, so I’ll allow it.
