  • I actually played this longer than the others as I intended to give them all an equal chance but, realised there would not be enough time, however, given that it did mean I could find the red herrings and wear a wetsuit! Even accounting for that the DUMBBELL joke still got the five stars on Humour.
  • Nicely built and quite interesting concept. I appreciated the wordplays, even if I wonder which kind of creature would result :-)
  • Another creative idea how a treasure hunt could be, and a funny one this game is! Took me some time to orient myself in Igor's world but after the many places were visited and the first riddles were solved, things developed quite nicely. Well done!
  • Terrific, clever humour that led to some fun puzzles. The font was effective in setting the gothic tone. The setting really felt like a world. Igor's limited ability and understanding fit well with the word restriction of the jam rules. My only issue was non-essential inventory items, particularly the very heavy hammer! Other than that, this was one of my favourites. Great work!
  • This was just brilliant, I loved it - a great concept, presented in an amusing and entertaining way, and the wordplay puzzle were a really unique and innovative touch! Hugely enjoyable - well done!

Development Time (Hours) (Optional)
I spent far longer writing this than I originally anticipated, probably over a month in my spare time.

Prior Coding Experience (Optional)
I've been coding as a hobby for years, primarily BASIC, C, Java and Inform 6.

Game Solution (Optional)
Are you kidding? I'm not giving that away! Not yet...

Number of Locations (Approx) (Optional)
31

Number of Puzzles (Approx) (Optional)
It depends on your definition of a puzzle, but probably a couple of dozen, some easy, some hard.

Maximum Number of Words Used For Messages (Optional)
Two, except for a couple of system messages [in square brackets], which are up to six.

Feedback on the Treasure Hunt Jam (Optional)
This is a great concept, but, quite to my surprise, it was MUCH harder than writing a traditional adventure.
