  • A nice game, and I liked the time travel element. I did have some problems with vocabulary, and I got stuck with the chests for ages - perhaps a hint system would help nudge the player in the right direction? You achieved a lot in just 12 hours, I'd like to see what you could achieve given more time!
  • A little confusing in some details. Some hints may be present to let the player understand what it must be done or avoid being immediately killed.
  • I loved the idea of lots of animals - especially ratting on each other and the puzzles across time are great - in fact I have been musing a game using a similar thing myself so full marks for getting there ahead of me. Why can't I go in the TENT at the start though...
  • I felt that this game comes with many old-school vibes, which is a good thing. I love when games transport your mind back to the glory days of your childhood, sitting in front of your 8-bit computer, playing one of the Scott Adams adventures. I think this game would need a bit more polish but overall that’s a good start! As you already mention: the world, at places, felt empty but you’re getting there so let’s keep that foundation and momentum and push the game where you want it to be. I might have encountered a situation where it was not possible for me to get out again. One of the golden rules is: avoid dead ends. But it might have just been me not getting my head around escaping the particular situation.
  • The time-travel puzzles were innovative and cool! I enjoyed those a lot. I thought the strange animals were very entertaining. I wish I didn't have to talk to the sloth so many times to get an item, but I did appreciate that his responses were different each time, indicating I was making progress. I'd also have preferred if the save/load game functions worked. Other than that, I thought this was a lovely submission. Thanks for doing the jam!
