Gameplay 4/5 - An interesting concept and decently fun to manage. It's a bit hard to keep track of, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes fun to manage how long you can keep them alive and also planning out both expansion and making sure you can eat. Very fun stuff!

Visuals 3/5 - While I do like the simplistic style and look, it could use a bit of work in how it's laid out. I think with just a simple back ground and a few seperating panels this could look much much better! Though it still works as it is now.

Audio 3/5 - Sound effects work for what they are though the game could have benefited from music.

Overall 4/5 - Once I got the hang of it, I enjoyed it a lot!

Theme 3/5 - I do wish the game used the theme for a bit more than just simple visuals but as it stands, it works perfectly fine.

Thanks for the detailed feedback. I've implemented a bunch of improvements already but didn't want to update it during the voting period.

The ui/ux is easier to understand. There is a time based score that's displayed on the screen and a high score tracker that saves between sessions. I've added a background to the play area as well.

I'm polishing the animal graphics and sounds a bit as well. I've added a "death screen" with stats like "animals eaten" and "water consumed" and stuff like that.

I'm adding a pause function/screen.

I plan on pushing the update out tonight or tomorrow.

Really hard to beat but great for 3 hours how you code it??

Developer

Thanks!

I used an engine called CT.js

Quite complex for 3 hours, well done! Some sfx would be a great addition to UX :)

Thanks. I ran out of time to polish the UX and sounds and music. There are some subtle sounds but they are quiet. I woulkd have loved to add some labels to the UI too so it was easier to figure out.

Concept is cool and complex ! But the game at start is quite difficult to understand. But the fact to farm / grow and feed some animals is pretty horrible and fun too haha

Developer

Thanks. I had reservations about making people eat foxes but I only had so many stock animals to choose form and no time to customize them to different animals. lol

Very nice art and sound design, very relaxing to play, kinda hard to understand at first but I understood it pretty fast.
Could use some background ambience but it is a very nice game in general.
You should definely continue to work on this project cuz it could be a full release with automation and what not.

Thanks!
