Sure, I think so - there’s nothing that says that you must to single player.
Only thing is…
Who shall vote? Who shall test? and how shall the live stream run when Mr. T is alone at this PC?
I played with the multiplayer aspect too, but then I decided not to do it, because of above reasons.
Maybe in the 30 day jam in november (github’s game off jam) it might make sense, but i still fear, that most voters are alone at their pc and “just want to try out what others wrote”. Not sure, if multiplayer is a good idea in any jam at all.
