Cool idea, nice art and sounds. I couldn't actually figure out how to play the game without reading Kenny's comment down here, and your elaboration on how the soap works. Would be good to put those in the page description. Well done

Neat idea, and I love the slowdown that happens when you pass through a dish! Two recommendations:

  • I wish that there was an indicator as to whether or not I have soap to clean a dish. It seems like I can only clean one dish, no matter how much soap I pick up, which sounds like an intentional design decision. But that needs to be communicated to the player somehow, and it's hard to remember in the middle of gameplay whether I've got soap or not.
  • I thought I had to refresh the webpage to play it again, but I discovered that hitting R will reset the game after losing. I wish this was explicitly stated in the description or the game itself! I would have played a lot longer if I didn't think I had to refresh to play again.

It's clean, it's polished, and it's fun. Good job!

Thanks for the feedback. I agree on all of your points. Changing the sprite color is really not enough of an indicator. Yes, the soap being a one-time use is intentional, considering the way the enemies spawn. Glad you liked it.
