Satisfying gameplay, but a bit confusing. What actually causes you to lose, just advancing to a particular date? I had plenty of leaves and still succumbed to the winter.
Every day of winter you lose some leaves, doubling each day. It may be unclear how much you lose as orb meter is hard to read, I agree.
If you can't pay cost fully - you lose.
The unreasonable amount of satisfaction I got when I discovered I could click on multiple overlapping trees at once... :) And then clicking the little plants to harvest leaves felt rewarding too, as they're faster and easier than the trees.
Love the colors and how the leaves animate toward you after you chop down a tree, then animate in the leafsphere UI. And my cute li'l character with my autumn outfit and hair.
I really liked the visuals and the palette. The player movement looks and feels really nice. It would have been nice if you could make some more choices which effected the outcome. The leaves in the middle were really cool!
