Hi! I havent been in the Jam in a long time and ive lost touch with some things. Are contestants allowed to plan their game before the 3 hours start? Thanks
Yes, you can plan beforehand. That's the idea of the jam - to practice planning and execution under time pressure! Also, don't worry if you go over 3 hour dev time. Finish the game and still submit, just note it in the description, how much time you needed.
