Very solid composition. Changing the accompaniment/tempo after ignition (while keeping the melody the same) was genius.
Also, when you started the ascending line (0:44), I wondered how you were gonna fit an entire scale before the lady finishes counting down. You pulled it off masterfully.
Thank you for your comment.
You seem to have solid knowledge in music theory, so your analysis is very valuable to me.
(And thanks for the organisation and the surprising theme)
Yo this is the Sherlock Holmes theme song XD
Really ?
Which one? Do you have a YouTube link?
I realized afterwards that my harmonic progression is Avengers, it'd be fun to hear it sounds like Sherlock too.
This is very well-crafted. Your melodies are singable, and therefore, more catchy and memorable. You have a good build throughout the piece which gives the entire thing motion making me want to listen all the way through (multiple times). I like that you made the countdown be the focus of your piece and itβs not just the beginning or the end. The energy definitely picks up throughout the countdown and the groove afterward is very fitting for an ignition and rocket ride. I love the arpeggiated violins at the end in the background- they definitely add a ton of energy. Overall great work! Thank you for sharing!
Hi Blue Lava !
Thank you very much for your analysis and the comments. The countdown in the middle of the song was not something really thought out, more instinctive, so Iβm glad my instinct works sometimes :)
PS: I have time today to listen, rate and comment your piece
