Good to know someone appreciated the effort we put into the audio. Thanks! As for the competition, we’ll probably disqualify ourselves from any of the prizes.

Nice work, would be interested in seeing where you take this project. I’m digging the overall atmosphere, too. Thanks for submitting this game!

Intense! The soundtrack complemented the gameplay perfectly. I was only able to kill 1 of the pumpkin guys, but got destroyed by the scarecrows. Thanks for joining the jam!

Perfect choice of music for fighting that monster! Really impressive animations, too. Thanks for submitting to the game jam!

Very addicting but challenging! The upgrade system keeps things fresh. 10/10 for showing the current tune+artist in the corner. Thanks for submitting to the jam!

Brutal concept! Adding all those people each with their own pathfinding logic really made the map feel alive. Thanks for joining the game jam!

Cool concept! It was fun discovering what puzzles were in each house, and the voice acting actually added a lot to the experience. Thanks for submitting to the jam!

Thanks! If you still want to, you would have to click the download button next to “FLAC” to get the audio file. No worries if it’s too late

A review video would be awesome! It’d be great to see someone stream the Game Jam games 😉

  1. When possible, you should honor the monster intended by the composer (however, you will not be penalized if you fail to do so)
  2. When we contact the winner about the prizes, you can request a specific region for the Amazon gift card

Thanks! If you really feel the need to pay, stay tuned for the game jam entry that will go along with this

This melody really stands out to me personally! Also I like the syncopation in the accompaniment lines; it makes me imagine humanity “contemplating” whether or not to move forward with AI. Glad you could participate in the tunejam!

The heartbeat was actually a genius touch! Not to mention the “booting up” riser at 0:33 was cool, too! Thanks for sharing this tune!

Very solid melodic writing in this tune. And then all the technology sound effects layered on top make this a real treat to listen to. Thanks for joining our tunejam!

Beautiful. It’s interesting how it starts quite sinister, as if the listener expects the singularity will be our doom. But actually become quite hopeful once all the seven and suspended chords kick in. Thanks for taking the time to put this piece together!

That was intense! A lot of good tension from the arpeggios and tempo changes. I’d love to hear this in an actual video game!

Expertly crafted and super catchy! For me, the way this tune flows seamlesslessy between the different sections was most impressive. Also those OS easter eggs were a clever touch!

Love them 80’s brass synths! I was quite intruigued by the use of exotic instruments/voices; fits well with the whole “man vs machine” motif. The melody becoming dissonant at certain points was a neat touch!

Love the energy of this tune! Amazing interplay between the strings lead and the synth lead. It’s always an pleasure to hear a Blue Lava original!

Interesting interpretation of the prompt! I believe the piano line becoming more dissonant represents a devolution of the pianist’s mastery of the piano? Nonetheless, I enjoyed listening to this tune! Thanks for joining the jam!

Wow! Quite an impressive compositional range on this tune. The entire middle section was extremely catchy and mixed expertly. I seriously got shivers when you restate the intro line in minor at 3:20. Thanks for sharing this tune!

That was awesome! I liked how this tune especially depicts a brooding, impending singularity. I always love me some minor 6ths (0:46)

The switch (1:20) from acoustic to electronic captures the prompt perfectly. I like that it’s even teased around 1:02 with the synth doubling the flute line. Great work!

Wow! The waltzy 3/4 sections are actual very pleasant (maybe the singularity can be relaxing after all?) In the end, we end on the dissonant chord, so it’s up to the listener to decide whether the singularity is good or bad. Thanks for sharing your tune!

Very nice blend of the acoustic/electronic elements. I personally liked the meloncholic/remorseful mood you’ve created with this tune. Nice work!

Nice camelCasing! Catchy beat, interesting “arp” work, this would make for some awesome video game soundtrack. Thanks for sharing this tune!

This is so catchy! The motion in the electric piano line was quite effective: makes me imagine bits and bytes flowing on a circuit board. Thanks for sharing your tune!

Impressive mix of the two musical styles. I hope one day when robot choirs are a thing, this is the first piece they perform! Thanks for joining the tunejam!

I’m amazed at how deep/full this bass synth is. There’s a nice unique blend of high (acoustic) piano against the synthesized strings and percussion. Thanks for participating in the tunejam!

Catchy melody, and it’s utilized well throughout the tune! It was quite enjoyable to follow along with the timestamps and hear the progression of AI take over. Thanks for sharing your tune!

Your storytelling through music is quite impeccable! Makes me sad, but I suppose that’s the reality of industrialization. Thanks for composing this for tunejam!

Great intro! I love how much the guitarwork adds to the overall color of the tune (which I imagine represents AI). Love how this suspensfully ends on the Major 7 (E).

I like your positive interpretation of the prompt! It made for quite a beautiful tune. I didn’t play much FNAF, but I thoroughly enjoyed the piece. Thanks for joining the tunejam!

Whoa! I’m impressed with how powerful the brass and strings sound here. Nice variety in the composition. Especially the machine-march at 1:40.

Impressive how it starts of quite relaxing, and seamlesslessy/gradually become more dissonant and sinister. Interesting choice of meter, too! I imagine this fitting in an Earthbound level.

A solid composition! I must have missed the Singularity motif, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Thanks for writing this tune for the tunejam!
