The aesthetic during the intro sequence and during the game was really cool! Don't know if it was just for me, but the sound/music was really glitching out, maybe because so many sounds were playing at once (but the sounds did really match the aesthetic). The platforming wasn't a great experience, could be a bit refined there. And I think it would be more useful if the gun was a bit stronger and could just fire wherever your mouse was pointing. You captured the chaos of an action scene well. Nice job!
That was stressful!
I didn't notice the moon just slyly getting closer and closer until the second playthrough and BOY DID IT SUCK. It gave me so much anxiety!
Also, that "dog" is a cat, with an eyepatch. You can't fool me. I CAN TELL.
Anyway, the game was pretty fun! I didn't really enjoy the jumping controls all that much, they were hella precise, but it didn't really take away from the overall experience.

This is such a cool take on the TV show in the TV show! ;) Love the CRT look, the graphics looks good! Good job :)
Loved the art; the background, the various menu screens (cut scene, game over, etc), and of course the UFOs. One thing I noticed was that it was really easy to avoid attacks from Grannies, and that it's possible to just sprint through the level without fighting anything and get to the end.
Some kind of indicator of getting hit would be nice. I'm staring at the area around my character rather than the HP bar, so I ended up dying a few times without realizing I was close to dying, or that I was getting hit. Mouse to aim (rather than aiming where you're facing) would also be great since you use mouse to shoot. Overall, it was pretty fun.
The web version doesn't work that well, no sound and it constantly crashes. Downloaded and that works much better. Good interpretation and I enjoyed the artwork a lot! The animations were a bit stiff and the platforming wasn't very tight. I also think if the mouse is going to be use to shoot it should also be used to aim.

Thanks :) I did try to fix the web version few times but I was not able to fix the crashes yet :/ At the beginning web build had even more bugs so maybe I will be able to fix few more things :)
