I didn't exactly understand what I was supposed to do doing, though I thought it was a decent start. If it was more clear, had some animations, better ui, etc. It could be decent!

Really interesting game but I think it needs a bit more work! The mechancis are not really clear on what I get to do as the princess other than walking around. I noticed that some farmers(?) are attacking the enemies so I assume that I had to get the enemies close to the farmer for it to attack but other than that, I was a bit lost. Maybe a bit of tutorialisation or controls clarity on what I have to do would have helped! The interpretation of the theme is quite clear, but I would like more creativity with it instead of just "a couple of companions following a leader." The visual design is okay, though it could use a bit more polish (adding animations, post processing, etc). The audio design are integrated but not well, it would be better if the sounds are marked as 3D spatial sounds instead of 2D because wherever I am, I can hear the enemy's sounds even if I am further away from them which can get a bit noisy. Overall, great job on the game, keep doing what you're doing and keep improving!

Thanks a ton, we intended for there to be a 'beat the wave get a random new follower' until wave 10 with a boss, however with this being our first jam I think we over scoped pretty heavy from the jump. Also agreed with animations, I had never made humanoids before, so rigging/animating took way more effort than I expected with Blender and ultimately they didn't make it. We will get this game updated though, so feel free to stick around!

Definitely! Really good job on your first game jam! Overscoping is a totally expected thing to happen on game jams and hey, its a good first experience! :)
