Welcome to UnPaws Jam's very first edition  ! We celebrate UnPaws Youtube Channel's 1 year anniversary with this jam event that lasts 10 days, from October 10th to October 20th.

Theme

The theme will be announced on October 10th through a video on UnPaws Youtube Channel. Your entry must fit in the theme in some way or another !

The jam's jury will be designating a #1 winner who will earn 1 year of MiniFantasy asset packs and Patreon Exclusive content ! The jury will be deciding on the best entry using the following criteria : Innovation, Theme, Gameplay, Graphics, and Audio.

There will also be honorable mentions. These will grant their owner 3 months of MiniFantasy asset packs and Patreon Exclusive content !

• Best use of the Theme : for the game that strikes us as the most anchored in the game jam's theme
• Best audio design : for the game that paid the most attention to audio
• Best "feel" : for the game that makes the player feel the most the impact of his/her actions
• Best foundation : if you don't manage to get a full game experience, grab this one if its core idea is solid and its foundations laid.
  
• Best implementation of the Minifantasy Assets : for the game that implements the minifantasy assets in the most aesthetically pleasant way
  

Rules

Submission

Please submit your build/export as a playable build in the browser. We will not be downloading any files, so keep that in mind !

Solo or team ?

Anyone can join the game jam, you can join solo or as a team, there is no restriction on how many individuals can compose a team.

Engines & tools

Any engine are allowed and feel free to use any tool at your disposal. Re-using snippets of code from your previous projects is totally fine !

General spirit of the jam

Remember, this game jam is mainly a way to train your game dev skills, your creativity, and most of all have fun. Beginners are more than welcome. Don't worry if you couldn't finish your game in time, please submit any unfinished project, we will be glad to try it out anyways and give some feedback!
