Not sure what the objective is. The game title and description says its to unclog all of the canals, but it also says you don't want the river to get too high. I just unclog some canals until the river starts carrying the construction worker. Eventually the river got so high the bottom of the river was visible, and then eventually was offscreen entirely. I like the weight the aiming controls have to them though!
Hi! The way we thought it was that the river and the canals are connected, so you try to keep the river at bay by unclogging the canals, and originally the game shared mechanics with an infinite-runner. Still, we have to workshop it a bit after the jam. And about the controls, we wanted to give the player some challenge in the main mechanic so that they had to put some effort to aim, so thanks for noticing, and thanks for the feedback!
interesting mechanic, I will say that i could see a hard edge on the left side of the water like the sprite wasnt set to stretch properly (i use an ultrawide) otherwise good work!
