Yes! I've considered that and more, but unfortunately it seems I've lost the original project. Cheers!

Right! First of all, thanks for leaving a comment, as feedback is super appreciated and I'm always glad to solve any doubts. Second, the game was designed to be infinite, such as an infinite runner. But I completely understand if that gets it disqualified or makes it not fit the gameplay criteria. If so, I'll happily submit https://creativityinprogress.itch.io/the-growing-tower-of-geometry.

Hey! I'm looking for a 2D Godot programmer to bring my idea to life. I have it all designed plus I managed to create base with the hardest mechanic figured out and tweaked. If you're interested or curious, my DMs are always open and I'm online very often. Add me on Discord at strike2_moops. Thanks for reading!

Hey thanks! There were actually many things we wanted to add to make the game more interesting and fit the theme better, but then we couldn't submit in time. Anyways, I'm repeating myself. Things will get worked on in the future, after the jam. Nice game title btw, the cover looks like a R.E.M CD. Oh and thanks from saving me from Paul P. Petter's prime parroting plague. Good luck! You'll need it...

Positive pronouncement, plaudit!

Parroting: Polishing physics planned. Packed, premium prospective: performed.

Plus, project procures: Points, progress palings, pop-ups, pause parasol, plenty popriums!

Permutation period? Posteriorly. Play posteriorly, puerile!

Plenty Ps = Positive Personality. Plain!

Pukka/pure proclamation. Physics polishing planned, prevent panicking!

Pretty prudently!

Polishing physics planned, particularly peripheries.

Plus, postscript, pellets pause posthaste. Play posteriorly!

Praiseworthy phrases 'propos planning! Pretty propitious! Praise!

Positively, practically.

Planned: Polish physics, prepend prime paybacks.

Pretty petite producing period :(

Propitious phrases! Praise!

Thank you! We will certainly add that to the list of things to work on after the jam.

Hi! The way we thought it was that the river and the canals are connected, so you try to keep the river at bay by unclogging the canals, and originally the game shared mechanics with an infinite-runner. Still, we have to workshop it a bit after the jam. And about the controls, we wanted to give the player some challenge in the main mechanic so that they had to put some effort to aim, so thanks for noticing, and thanks for the feedback!

Buenas! Puedo usar gameplay para el concurso de memes de Majorariatto? Gracias che

Bravo Vince!

Hey! Do you already have a team?

Great! Love this prize idea

So... Do we have to choose one teammate to get the pizza? Can we change to a small pizza each one?

(1 edit)

When will the winner be chosen and where will it be announced?

Please do read the Disclaimer. Thanks!

Maybe I'm a little late, but you can press F1 for documentation.

Great! Will do! Thanks.

I feel like, even though it says the Jam is for beginners and experts, making a Leaderboard is one of the most complicated things to do, regardless of the game...

Si estoy trabajando solo, también tengo que inscribirme y seguir todos los pasos?

Gracias!

El juego solo puede contener 12 palabras, no? Hay limitacion en el título?

I'm glad you liked it! I also didn't play choice-based or really anything text-based, but when I thought of the idea, I decided to go for it and do it! And I'm really happy with the result!

Thanks! I had to make the presentation the strong point of the game, since originally it was going to be a visual novel but I'm no artist, so when I decided it was going to be text-based it had to look more than pretty. There is a full-screen button in the bottom-right corner, if that's what you meant. I'm realy happy to know that all the things I wanted to convey to the player and worked an extra for are noted. I'm glad you like it and more glad you noticed!

PS: Technically it isn't a game but more of a narrative, I hope that still counts!

Well, I'm glad you like it! I wanted all scenes to have the transition, for coherence.

I know! It was especially hard when I tested it, but I  couldn't get it right for some reason. I had to abandon the idea because t was taking too long...

Wow, thanks! There are three endings, needless to say, the good ending is the best one!
