Great game, builds such lively cities

This is a fantastic game! Very cool cooperative city builder, inspired by and built on the bones of fractal game Microsoft (another favorite game). I used it as a session zero tool to build a city for my urban fantasy RPG, but I think we're going to continue using it in parallel with the RPG to keep developing the city. Highly recommented. My team didn't use every bit of the improv-based tools (we didn't act out any scenes) but there was still a ton of excellent creative sparking going on. I suspect that the more we use it, the deeper into it we'll go. One of my favorite session zero tools, right up there with Backstory Cards.

A game I desperately want to play with people I've lived in punk houses with. 

There are many world- or city-building game, but this one is by far my favorite, and my go-to game for "oh someone couldn't make it to game night and we need a last minute game." A group of friends and I did a one shot of this and fell in love with the city we made, so we're doing a bunch of GMless games in that world and it's been incredibly fun. 

This game is amazing! The rules were very clearly written and helpful and got us playing quickly.

The structure very quickly brought the different ideas of our group together cohesively into what felt like one living city. After only one or two rounds of play there was already an emergent narrative, with conflicts brewing between the various voices of the city. 

I'm definitely considering using this to set up a city for the next long-form tabletop campaign I run. The investment that the whole group had in the city and in each other's contributions was really inspiring.

The artwork and layout of the book are gorgeous - I'm looking forward to getting my print edition!
