this game asserts (and lets us enjoy) that places, people, and things can be magic. it's the tabletop equivalent of those animated pixel art gifs of a city street where a banner softly billows in the breeze and the lights on a vending machine blink (which is not to detract from the actual art in the book, which is stunning)

So interesting and lovely! Watched it played on Tabletop Roulette and fell in love with the concept!
