This is pretty impressive. The game is very polished, and the CGA palette matches the vaporwave theme pretty well.
As people have noted in the game's comments, it's a very difficult game. I was able to get through most of the levels by sliding and using damage boosts, but I couldn't defeat the final boss. If there's some secrets to dodging ??? Man's shots, I couldn't figure it out. Maybe giving the protagonist slightly less clunky movement would be nice.
Still, well done! This is a pretty good game. And the design of Graeco-Roman Statue Man is hilarious.
the final boss is weak vs the tree attack :o
It was challenging but I beat it :D Great work on the art, gameplay and audio!
