In what way is your submission related to the theme?
The aesthetics, of course. The game is also steeped in distorted '80s nostalgia, and it... let's say *interacts* with that theme a fair bit.

Thank you so much! Distorted nostalgia is exactly what I was going for - vaporwave as a genre tends to comment on that, after all. I'm glad it worked.
The grey things are pretty ambiguous, but the sprites are based on a picture of a sculpture. Though having nukes appear would've probably fit the theme, too, given how the fear of a nuclear apocalypse was very present in the '80s.
First time I've seen sitcom laughter tracks applied to in-game dialog. Very creative and an enjoyable mood throughout.
