Name of Art Piece
Sentinel Number 3
Description of entry
Inspired by 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Krita is used as an art software, with a sketchbook being a drafting tool.
EDIT: As I submitted mere minutes away from the deadline, I had to resort to finishing my piece with rough inking instead of fleshing out every single detail through lineart, coloring, and shading. At first, I used my sketchbook to draft out some visuals. Although, it didn't go further than some pose drawings and barely-finished paneling.
As my first submission stated, I was inspired by the game "13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim." This game is made by Vanillaware, and features a bunch of teens beating up robots, with some of the teens living at 1945, 1985, 2025, 2065, or even 2105. When it came to digital painting, I ended up sliding in just barely 6 hours to do all of the digital work. Thus, I had to do some budget cuts and quickly draft out elements on the fly, such as coloring, clothing, and road structure. Overall, I would like to do this again, preferably with more time to myself (rather than doing homework, working a part time job, and sleeping in.)

How does it fit the theme: Between Worlds?
The main character was designed to be a time traveler who pilots a mech to defeat the kaiju.
EDIT: This wasn't really explained, but I drew the motorcycle and the biker to be within the 1970s, with them time-travelling into the future to beat up some kaiju robots. I took this theme in a more literal sense, with some figurative elements of time being a factor to how different a world can be from another. 50 years of time to connect two different worlds together. One from the past, and one from the future.
