What is the most interesting interval in your leitmotif/theme?
The interval is the half-step.

Usually, a half-step tends to create resolution in a melody, in this case though, it is rather disturbing because the melody doesn't know where to have a ground, it's constantly moving and therefore it creates tension and unpredictability in the listener.

Taking away harmonic context and employing the brass blasts for irregular emphasis definitely gives the impression of the unpredictable staggering of something foreboding :) And is that a baby crying?!

Thanks a lot, yes that's a kid screaming, a member of my family : )

It added a very realistic touch!

This is definitely a song for a villain that is unpredictable! Your heavy bass and cymbal-heavy drums with the occasional brass blast make this fit the “larger than life” theme well. The monophonic nature of the piece adds to the unpredictability since, as you describe, the lack of harmony makes finding a tonal center challenging for the ears, but I think when used deliberately, this technique accomplishes your goal of unsettling the listener well. Thank you for sharing!

You are going to have the highest rating from me in all accounts. This is one of my favorites. Really fits the villain + larger than life theme.

Plus it sounds good, it's an easy but unlikely pattern, and it feels like a whole composition and not a string of notes put together.
