nice game!
GG!!!!!!!!
fun game idea the art is alright the movement is wierd aalthough you made it in scratch so it understandable
Challenging but pretty cool. I wondered if I could go upside down and when it worked I was like COOL! Good job.
this is a nice wee game but it would be good if the spider could move quiker and the platform was big
other than that great
This is a beautiful game. I mean, the graphics are not the good and game play is not optimized but yeah the game itself is a one kind of treasure. You should build a good version from this with someone, because this could be a very valuable game mechanic for mobile platforms.
Everything here works together: you have a simple but attractive goal, you have a grace to survive from more than of from 1 hit, you have an interesting opponent. You have 2 side to walk on, but before moving on to other side, you have to check if there is anything in other side, which makes this challenging. Modifying is easy; The different levels may contain new type of small spiders, "the bullets", there could be more levels, different player characters, etc. This game has even a story.
I would rather to use screen-slide movement ("Helix Jump" - type of movement) to move the spider; now it is just to slow to react. You should balance this game and create new levels and build an mobile version from this. You might need an artist, even a team. Keep on with this, because this has very valuable game play mechanics and player can see all game play value on the first play. This can be a really good hyper casual game for the world.
Thank you for your amazing feedback! I'm very pleased you enjoyed playing my game and think it has potential. I made this game in one day so I'm sorry about the lack of optimisation and art however I do plan to use this concept in the future. I'm currently learning UE4 so I don't think I'll be going down the mobile game avenue with it but I definitely plan to make something of it. As you said, it could make for an interesting game optimised. Your advice is really helpful and I'm extremely thankful for it. I'll be taking it into consideration whenever I do something with the concept.
Thanks,

Yes, do it! And no problem. I'm actually believing this could be a new "Helix Jump" or "Knife Hit". You just need to make the spider movement outside of the borders by using touch-swipe feature, so it become compatible to move the character more faster, while avoiding the hits become more pleasant; you can actually make the middle border in any shape you want and the player can move along the shapes path, and also add other collision objects on the game area and then levels have way more different way to be modified.
The simple movement and avoiding to hit the bouncing ammo's makes this action phased and very clever, challenging but fun to play. The bullets maybe should hit the boss as well; maybe the boss has an armor, but still it does lose health,; and while you play, you compare your health to the bosses - just like you do in the football game and accompany your friendly team's score while comparing it to the opponent's score.
If you want to prototype fast, you may buy a ready made assets from the assets store to faster the process of development, or watch some tutorial videos of making simple hyper casual games.
Good luck there - Take it to far!
You know, even with all the silliness of it being a little scratch game, I actually liked the concept of just having to survive a hostile environment longer than the boss.
It felt like standing still on the top was the best approach because of how slow you moved and where the spiders generally got stuck, but it still is a good concept.
I'm very pleased you enjoyed playing my game. This game was made on scratch in one day so I didn't have time to improve the boss however I plan to take the concept with me to UE4 when I make the move later this year and hopefully improve it.
Thanks,
