My one issue is that picking up the checkpoint is a little broken, sometimes the character will just drop it randomly right after picking it up.

Overall, this was really fun! The music and graphics are great, and the game mechanics are tutorialized well. It plays well with the 2-button controls.

I dont even know where to begin.  first off, the music was incredible and timed very well to the timer. the level design was amazing and throwing your checkpoint somewhere else so that you can essentially teleport to an unreached area was smart. the only downside was that at one point i couldnt pick up the checkpoint any more even after spamming the pick up button, so i had to wait until the boss came in to kill me(i also had something like that in my game too, nice) overall this is an amazing game

That's an odd bug indeed! I have encountered it before too, and it has eluded me until just now. I do know what causes it ( i have realized it too late unfortunately :/ ) but we are glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!! Thanks for playing!!!
