I played this with a couple friends and it was a lot of fun. It was my first Lasers and Feelings game so it took some adjusting for me to understand the rules. Overall the theme is excellent, it provided many opportunities for cat related puns and silly shenanigans. The layout of the page made it difficult to read. I had read all of it but during game play for some reason couldn't find the part about what to do if the player rolled their number. So we missed the opportunity to include the Scream Queen bonus. It would be helpful if the part about dice and rolling was in a table of it's own. this would make it easier for the Gm to find during the game, especially if they are new to being a GM or to Lasers and Feelings.
Thank you for making this game! We really enjoyed playing it!
Lots of fun. Like the characters, the strange ailments and the even stranger "cures."
This is a delight and it is worthwhile both to play it and to learn from it. The underlying design of interaction between "cures" and sometimes-ridiculous illnesses is clever, and the thinking player can derive the system over the course of play without it being too formulaic. The only limitations are that, of course, it is a jam game instead of something that gets a year of polish, and so there are a few stumbling blocks that slow down easy access to the interactions and information that a player needs when under time pressure.
