Really fun game, I had a great time playing this! It was a lot of fun trying to improve my crane making each time, and I really like the upgrade system too. Love the whole look of the game and I also really liked the music and sound design too! Amazing work to everyone involved! 👍✨

Thanks for making a pretty little game. I like the cover art quite a bit.

I played 13 days and folded 93 cranes to get a feel for the upgrade strategy and wanted to share my findings/opinions:

  1. Concentration - C tier. Low payoff to cost ratio. You'll still want some ranks of this by the time other stuff starts getting pricey though.
  2. Origami Mastery - S+ tier. This is the best upgrade in the game by a large amount. After buying into Study Session once or twice, focus on this only. It is the key to everything.
  3. Multitasking - ? tier. This one didn't seem to function properly for me. I always started at step 1 after finishing a crane.
  4. Crane Explosion - B tier. Solid multiplier to your crane output. Weak at first, you'll only be finishing a couple cranes a day for a while, and later it gets very expensive, but you'll want this before a lot of other upgrades.
  5. Study Session - A tier. Get this first, a couple ranks at least. It starts very high value and falls off in efficiency fast.  I bought only two ranks but it paid off well in my session.
  6. Time Dilation - B tier. It's okay. Due to the low price, starts out rather efficient. I put it up to 22, which is 44% more time in the day.

My greatest wish is a mistake forgiveness upgrade. Losing your crane, especially early on when they take quite long, is a big setback.

Brilliant fantasy of mastering the art of origami! I loved to feel I was becoming more skilled in creating the cranes. Beautifully executed. Congrats! 230  cranes in 23 days.

My first idea for the Game Jam was to make an origami game, but I thought it would be too difficult, and you managed to mix the concepts and it turned out interesting, good job
