Impressive accomplishment! I love the video, it was quite a surprise. The characters are cute and I felt rewarded for creativity even though it was a fairly linear experience.
I was a little stuck on the ship stage for a bit because (I think) I had to color every single object, which I don't believe you had to do on the house page. Plus, I wanted the clouds to be white! I also wished that the dots had larger collision than their appearance, as they were difficult to click at times.
A highlight for me was coloring the sky during the plane section. I started with yellow but then changed my mind a couple times.
Thanks for making a pretty little game. I like the cover art quite a bit.
I played 13 days and folded 93 cranes to get a feel for the upgrade strategy and wanted to share my findings/opinions:
- Concentration - C tier. Low payoff to cost ratio. You'll still want some ranks of this by the time other stuff starts getting pricey though.
- Origami Mastery - S+ tier. This is the best upgrade in the game by a large amount. After buying into Study Session once or twice, focus on this only. It is the key to everything.
- Multitasking - ? tier. This one didn't seem to function properly for me. I always started at step 1 after finishing a crane.
- Crane Explosion - B tier. Solid multiplier to your crane output. Weak at first, you'll only be finishing a couple cranes a day for a while, and later it gets very expensive, but you'll want this before a lot of other upgrades.
- Study Session - A tier. Get this first, a couple ranks at least. It starts very high value and falls off in efficiency fast. I bought only two ranks but it paid off well in my session.
- Time Dilation - B tier. It's okay. Due to the low price, starts out rather efficient. I put it up to 22, which is 44% more time in the day.
My greatest wish is a mistake forgiveness upgrade. Losing your crane, especially early on when they take quite long, is a big setback.
