Interesting concept. I think the tone was set very well through both visuals and gameplay, with your first action being to loot your dead friend's corpse. I think the game was a bit linear, but I think you could take this in a lot of different directions.
Hello I made an update improving some errors, as itchio can not be uploaded by the jam leave the link

This is a good proof of concept for a survival-based game. The collection system was nice! You also did a good job with showing the player what they have to do without putting a lengthy tutorial popup in there or something (a good balance). It was a little janky due to the collision-based movement system (i got stuck on a tree once pretty early and had to restart) and the physical areas for crafting and hunting maybe could have had different textures, but for a jam game this was good. Nice job keeping the project scope down enough to be able to make a game with an ending!
I really liked the way the player can interact in this enviroment. What I had to do was clear, and the uncertainty sensation were never present (in a gameplay way). This game is short but it knows what it has to offer
Don't worry if you didn't finish. You can work on it after the jam period ends if you wanted, but regardless it's still a cool product with a start and an end, and that's already an achievement.
I liked the inventory and progression system, and there was always the decision of: should you venture out and get more stuff to progress, or should you stay where it is safe? which adds strategy. I wasn't sure how to get myself to stop freezing at all and I also didn't know the clothes could be taken, and yes some of the things that could be crafted didn't really have a point. I think that if you had time, a very quick tutorial page next time just so you can explain the game mechanics such as what body temperature does, and make sure that the very important step of taking the clothes isn't missed. Just user friendliness. But overall, neat game with a morbid vibe!
Really interesting, I am always a fan of games with crafting and building so this was fun. The atmosphere is dark and gloomy which fits with the narrative perfectly. It took many deaths to realize I could get the clothes of the body of the friend lol. The campfire seemed pointless as it did not lower my possibility of death or slow its drain which I felt it should do and neither did the snow hut. The hunting was buggy and could not get it to work but the overall idea of the game is cool. I wish there were more to explore, and I kept having weird collisions with objects and getting stuck. Well done.
Thanks for the feedback, the truth is that I had very little time to polish the hunting and other aspects of gameplay, now I would like to update the file but I can not, Thank you very much for the comment.
